A interesting approach to handle systemic issues in American High Schools! This intentional meeting practice is something that makes perfect sense. I’ve always said that if we don’t know our students as individuals (what drives them to success along with what causes them to act out) we can not teach them or empower them to help themselves.
This BARR method deserves a solid look over, especially in poverty ridden schools. In order for this to work though, first the state will need to invest more money into school counselors and social workers to ensure proper support exists for students. After this mornings panel I know you agree with this Steven Bieda!
This is a must read for administrators and teachers across the country!
